Overview

This 8-session class is open to all families in SRO who have children under the age of 6. It’s a great chance to get hands-on coaching with practice techniques for home and talk with parents of students the same age.

This class will also be the first step for all new families with children ages 2 through 6. Students will be able to start private lessons while you take the Suzuki Family Group Class, and then transition to our regular group classes afterwards.

Tuition

Free: included if enrolling in the program. Group class tuition will begin when you start the Suzuki Family Group Class

$170.00 - for the class without enrolling in the rest of the program

$10.00 - “Beyond The Music Lesson” book cost

Highlights

• Non-Instrument Specific - all students will learn together with their parent (guardian). Each class will be led by Mark Mutter and last 60 minutes.

• 30 minutes devoted to music and practice skills for students and parents. This will help students make a seamless transition to private lessons and group class.

• 30 minutes will be a book study of “Beyond The Music Lesson” by Christine Goodner. The cost of the book is included in the class. Students will enjoy continued musical games and activities with one of our SRO teachers.
