Pamela Reit has been a Suzuki teacher since 1986. She received her Bachelor of Music from Peabody Conservatory and her Masters of Music from Rice University. She moved home to the Burlington, Vermont, area in 1992 and began Vermont Suzuki Violins, Inc. She has taught at Institutes and workshops all over the country and directs a yearly workshop in Vermont in November. In 2016, Pam became the Director of the Green Mountain Suzuki Institute.
Pam and her husband, Ira Morris, perform with the Burlington Chamber Orchestra and both have private violin studios at home. They live with their two daughters in Hinesburg, Vermont. Pam is a 2012 winner of the SAA Creating Community Award.
