This class will be the first step for all new families with
children ages 2 through 6 enrolling after November 1st.

Current SRO families with children ages 2 through 6
You are also welcome to sign up. This is a great way to meet other families, read and discuss "Beyond The Music Lesson" and get hands on help with how to practice with your child at home.

Highlights of the Suzuki Family Group Class

  • Non-Instrument Specific - all students will learn together with their parent (guardian)

  • Each class will be led by Mark Mutter and last 60 minutes

    • 30 minutes devoted to music and practice skills for students and parents. This will help students make a seamless transition to private lessons and group class.

    • 30 minutes will be a book study of “Beyond The Music Lesson” by Christine Goodner. The cost of the book is included in the class. Students will enjoy continued musical games and activities with one of our SRO teachers.

  • Parents and students will interview with teachers during this time to pick their instrument, secure a lesson time and observe a group class if possible.
