Suzuki Royal Oak Institute of Music is a non-profit community music school founded in 1991
by its present director Mark Mutter.
The schools educational philosophy is based on the Suzuki Method, which teaches children ages 3-18 to love music through the study of stringed instruments.
SRO has over 150 students enrolled in the program with 10 teachers instructing children in violin, viola, cello, and guitar. SRO also offers Orchestra, Chamber Music and Music Theory instruction.
